He gathered his sons together, picked up five saplings and easily broke them, one-by-one. Then, he tied five more saplings together into a single bundle and tried to break them. Of course it was impossible.
By supporting our church’s financial needs with our tithes and our offerings, each of us adds his strength to that of others. Thus, through “concentration of effort,” we are stronger than ever, just as is demonstrated by this – old story.
