You have your choice of two kinds of Liners:

(1) Shapeable Liners are Disk shaped, (approx. 2" dia. by 1/8" thick) you can cut them with scissors or pull and shape them with your fingers (like putty) to fill any gaps and at the same time help you eliminate any potential sore spots on your gums. These Liners take a bit more time to fit to your denture the first time. But, after in place, the Liners hold their shape and can be easily re-used without further adjustments to make them fit just right.

(2)  PreFormed Liners are made (formed) to match the contours of your Upper denture or Lower denture.  This Liner is cut to the shape of either upper or lower dentures.  Just drop Liner in place on your DRY denture and the Liner will self-adhere. Then you can use you fingers to "fine tune" the shape and make any minor adjustments that may be needed for your personal denture's unique shape. Result: You get maximum comfort in shortest possible time.

All of these Liners give you an easy to use, adjustable, soft cushion between your gums and the hard plastic of the denture. #2-PreFormed Liners (see above) are quicker and easier to put in place on your denture than #1-Shapeable Liners (see above) takes more time to shape to fit the denture.  NOTE: All dentures will become loose over time due to normal gum and jawbone shrinkage after natural teeth are removed. This shrinking process is slow but continuous. Hi Terry,

Wow I am excited- I used the pre-formed liners this morning for the first time.  I have been relining my dentures in one way or another for 50 years (I got my first set when I was a junior in high school).  When you get dentures at that young age you go through a lot of gum changes including the removal of wisdom teeth when the first show up (have to cut them out and this is no fun).  Then of course your gums shrink and the dentures don't fit right anymore.  I can not afford to have dentures relined professionally so have been using over the counter reliners.  I have tried several and still use cushion grip occasionally.  I Love the way these went on today and the way they feel.  For the first time I didn't have to mold and spread the liner to fit the denture.  I trimmed the excess off and will experiment on using it for sore spots if they happen.   I believe these liners are a real break through.  I just called a dentist and a chair side reline (which needs to be done every 2 years if you do it right) would cost $200 per plate = $400 for me and I don't have that kind of money or insurance to pay any of it.  I will keep you informed on how these work out for me.
